Vasiliy Goral, PhD
Research & Development Associate at Corning

Vasiliy Goral is a Principal Scientist at Corning Research & Development Corporation, with more than 20 years of experience in developing biotechnology products for life sciences applications. Vasiliy has extensive expertise in adherent cell culture bioprocessing, bioreactor automation, and scalable manufacturing technologies. He is a core member of the team behind the development of the Corning® Ascent® bioreactor platform and is actively involved in expanding its applications to meet the evolving needs of the biomanufacturing industry. As part of his current role, Vasiliy collaborates with customers to optimize their bioprocess workflows and integrate the Ascent platform into their development and manufacturing processes.

Prior to joining Corning, Vasiliy was a senior researcher at Innovative Biotechnologies International, Inc., where he developed a microfluidic biosensor platform with applications in multiple markets, including point-of-care testing, national defense, and food/water testing. Vasiliy holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Moscow State University.
