Nucleic acid therapeutics have rapidly advanced from experimental concepts to approved medicines, reshaping how we approach the treatment of genetic and chronic disease. In this article, nine new members of the Nucleic Acid Insights Editorial Advisory Board – Arghya Sett (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology), Kevin Craig (Eli Lilly & Co.), Ketaki R Deshmukh (Novo Nordisk), Benjamin Hall (Tessera Therapeutics), Vera Huang (Independent Consultant), Daniella Ishimaru (Independent Consultant), Adrian Keller (Paderborn University), Mayur Patel (Judo Bio), and Santhosh Kumar Thatikonda (Genentech) – share their perspectives on the current state and future of the field, addressing what drives their work, the key translational challenges ahead, and their motivations for joining the journal.
